Express Entry

Express Entry is an online selections system designed by the Government of Canada to accept the Expression of Interests to immigrate to Canada from the foreign nationals. The Express Entry allows the Immigration, Refugees, and Immigration Canada (IRCC) to invite candidates who are eligible to relocate to Canada.

This selection system serves three Federal programs of immigration and a number of Provincial immigration programs:

Federal Skilled Workers (FSW)

Federal Skilled Trades (FST)

Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Comprehensive Ranking System

Express Entry assesses each candidate against the selected criteria and assesses eligibility for all programs. The system grants points for such criteria as the age of the main applicant, education credentials, work experience, knowledge of Canadian official languages, relatives in Canada, and other additional factors. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) also assesses candidates on the combination of various adaptability factors. Every two weeks on average, IRCC holds rounds of invitation and the candidates in the Express Entry pool who have the highest CRS score get invited to apply for a Permanent Residency in Canada. Best Quality Immigration, a licensed immigration company, can help you to analyze all your past education and work experience, in order to be sure that you score all points you are eligible to claim.

The maximum points in the Express Entry in 1200. However, a candidate can score only 600 points (or 560 if married, while an additional 40 points can be achieved by the spouse of the primary applicant) for his eligibility and adaptability factors. To score 1200 is possible only if you get a certificate of the nomination of the Canadian province.

Submitting application

It is very important to provide accurate and full information to the government, as based on that Express Entry will generate a list of documents required for assessing and processing your application. This is one of the main reasons why one should hire a professional to file your case and submit your permanent residency application. Minor mistakes in the documents, wrong documents and inappropriately filed forms may result in refusal of your application. Once a candidate receives an application, there are 60 days to upload all required documents and submit the full application. Our experts will assist you in meeting the deadlines and submitting your file in a proper way.

Eligibility review

After application submission, IRCC will review if you meet the eligibility requirements of the program under which you have been invited. Immigration analysts of the government will assess the completeness of your application and review your documents.

Medical exam

As a part of your assessment, you will be asked to pass the medical examination. The medical exam confirms you’re not inadmissible for medical reasons.

Background check and Biometrics

Background check and Biometrics

The background check consists of two elements: Criminality and Security. Canada is thoroughly checking that all potential newcomers do not endanger Canadian society and that they are admissible to come to Canada. The purpose of biometrics collection is to confirm the applicant’s identity. Your fingerprints and photo make more difficult for someone to forge, steal or use your identity in the future.

Confirmation of Permanent Residency and Landing

Once your application is approved, IRCC will issue you a Confirmation of Permanent Residency (COPR) letter. If you currently reside in a country that requires a visa to Canada, IRCC will also issue you a permanent resident visa. With those documents, you will be able to do a landing in Canada and to get your status of Permanent Resident of Canada.
